this crazy hobby of mine for the past four years.
On a whim, a friend and I decided to take a Wilton cake decorating class at Michael's Craft Store. After the four week class was over, my friend was done....I, however, was bit by the bug....the cake decorating bug.
For Christmas that year, I gave my husband a Wilton Yearbook and circled supplies that I wanted. I told him to get whatever he wanted that was circled. He got everything! OK, so he won husband points that Christmas.
I did my first fondant covered cake for our annual New Years Eve party one week later.
It made me want to cry!
But I kept trying, and practicing, and trying.....and, well, you get the point.
Fast forward 4 years later. This hobby has grown to an obsession and now I strive to make every cake completely different that the one before.
